NCESD supports the school districts of Gilliam, Sherman, and Wheeler Counties and the State of Oregon in achieving Oregon's education goals by providing equitable educational opportunities for our public and home school students. Our goal is to help each student develop an enthusiasm for learning, a respect for self and others, and the skills to become a creative independent thinker and problem solver.

NCESD regional services are primarily in areas that the school districts alone would not be able to adequately and equitably provide. These services are basically offered within four large categories: Special Education Services, School Improvement, Technology, and Administrative Services.
